In March, 2010 and 2012, the Buckeye Alpaca Show, Inc. sponsored the honorariums and travel expense
for speakers at the International Camelid Conference at The Ohio State University School
of Veterinary Continuing Education. Multiple year Grand Sponsors of the Buckeye Alpaca Show
received complimentary admission for either themselves or their veterinarian to attend this
fantastic 5 day event. Over $60,000 was contributed by The Buckeye to support the cost
of fifty-eight lecturing Veterinarians. This financial support has enabled OSU to continue to
host this valuable program on a bi-annual basis.
